So Chelsea's recent (HUGE) news has got me scanning the DC Gallery for other good finds. I love the look of Hunt Rettig's work. I was little surprised that they're acrylic paintings because I thought they were photographs of paper sculptures. Very serene, makes me want to try to make some paper sculptures.

your such a good friendy. i love that girls work too, but you were right, they are paper sculptures. there is so much subtle color shifts when the light hits different curves of the paper. It looks almost asian inspired, don't you think? she had a show hung when we were there
