Coupling Design
Tom found this gem of an article today and I love it. It's pretty much what we aspire to do, but we have a few kinks to work out. Kink number one, start producing! Tom's injury has put his production of goods on hold for now. As for me I have found it's hard to produce work when you are an interior designer because you depend on people taking a chance on you to do so. Until then you don't have much to show for it. Oh Salt Lake, I'm holding out for you! Show me your secrets and lets get this show on the road!

Gear
It's been fun the last few months focusing on well made products (mostly bags and outerwear) with Tom. As a product designer and outdoor enthusiast it makes good sense that these would be things that he's interested in and I love being brought into a world of design that I other wise have just appreciated from afar. Especially where fashion and outdoors products have been mixing. Tom has been working on getting a line put together that melds the two and we have been doing our homework.
Last month we headed down to a trade show put on by one of Tom's fashion idols (Nick Wooster) for Project Wooster and it was soo worth it. Besides all of the new products there Wooster had brought in a handful of Japanese designers that he is especially excited about and we got a chance to see some of the pieces.
I can't wait to see what the future brings for us exploring these new avenues.
